Happy 176th Birthday, Communist Manifesto! We're throwing you a party In honor of Red Books Day. You're invited to an all out bash and cook off starting at 5pm on Friday, February 21st @ Born Again Labor Museum.
Order of events: Red Books Cook Off - 5pm, every cook can govern! every cook can win a big stack of Red Books and a percentage of the take! Bring your favorite dish share with comrades. $10 entry fee to the Cook Off, free to attend (donations encouraged). Please let us know the ingredients so we can list them for those with dietary restrictions.
FYI this is a SIDSA fundraiser it helps us keep the website up and operations ongoing/expanding.
Red Trivia - 6pm, sharpen the struggle! sharpen your knowledge! We will be testing comrades knowledge of socialist history and theory. Study hard and you can walk out of BALM with your very own RED BOOK, it could be little it could be big it, regardless you will learn whether you like it or not!
Red Open Mic - 6:30pm, come read or speak or sing or dance or rant or engage in criticism/self-criticism.
Pin the Beard on Marx - 7:30pm, hey Karl! In honor of you and Fred dropping that heat oh so long ago we got you... uh... a beard! Seemed up you alley. Yep thats right comrades Marx needs his beard back so lets all pitch in, have some fun, and help the comrade.
